Jeg har før præsenteret jer for den fantastiske bog ”How the be parisian – wherever you are” og har siden da faldet et par gange over nogle glorius moments, nogle mere poetiske end andre, som jeg lige vil dele med jer, mest af alt fordi jeg 100% kan sætte mig ind i alt det der står skrevet herunder, og jeg tvivler stærkt på at jeg er den eneste..

‘at first glance one might think that parisiennes don’t get along with one another, because in theory, two of them in the same room is one to many’

Not your most glorious moments: its the charming you run into at a party for the second time, who comes up to you smiling and says ”hey Anne” Your name is Audrey’

‘If you own only one sweater, make sure its cashmere’

‘They all need to wrong for the one to be right. Love is the only part of your life in which you truly have no choice’

‘If her wardrobe is made up only of black, it’s not because she’s in the mourning. Quite the contrary. Black is the colour of celebration, the colour of the nights that never ends, of woman who pulls the blinds to shut out the dawn.’

‘In their mind, a single rule outweighs; enjoy the face you have today, it’s the one you’ll wish you have ten years from now.’

‘But you told him to never call you again! – I just cant believe he actually listened.’

‘(about the one that got away) Your neighbor advises you to stand naked in front of him and make a phone call  ”It’s the best way to find out if he is gay”

‘Truth be told, if the parisienne could wear just a Burberry trench and nothing underneath, she would be in heaven’

‘Always be fuckable; when standing in line at the bakery on a sunday morning, buying champagne in the middle of the night or even picking your kids up from school. You never know’

‘The parisienne lives by only one sound; that of her heels clicking one the pavement, setting a steady tempo for her life. She knows the rhythm well, it’s the metronome of her days. However, no sooner does she set foot in the country side than the sole of her shoes sinks into damp grass and she realizes she is on foreign sole.’

‘Be unfaithful; cheat on your perfume, but only on cold days.’
